Questions Frequently Asked:

"Can my dog begin training at TSK9U in this level if my dog has had previous professional training in the past?"

"Yes, you can begin at any level offered at TSK9U."  If you would like for one of our Dog Behavior Experts to evaluate

of our Dog Behavior Experts to evaluate what level you and your dog should begin with at TSK9U, make an appointment for a 30 minute private lesson at your convenience.

"What if the hand or verbal commands are different from what is taught at TSK9U?"

"Not a problem!  We will work with the commands that you have been using."

"My dog is not social with other dogs, can we still attend class?"

"Absolutely.  We don't isolate you and your dog for any aggression.  In a supervised, safe, and controlled environment, we will help your dog overcome any fear, anxiety, aggression, or nervous energy during each weekly class."  Due to a limited amount of time each week for class, your instructor may suggest a private lesson to better serve you and your pet.

"What methods of training do you use at TSK9U?"

"We do not offer one particular style or method of training.  Because all dogs, like children, learn differently, have different lifestyles, different energy, or behavioral issues that may need to be fixed quickly for the safety of the dog or owner.  All collar styles, treats, and methods are mearly suggested by our Dog Behavior Experts, never forced on you or your dog.  Explanation of each tool or method is offered before use and is not required for the owners to use them.  We do accept the use of treats, clickers, touch, voice, hand commands, no-slip chain collars, no-slip nylon collars, no-slip leads, prong collars, e-collars, harnesses, 3' - 30' leads, whistles, and of course energy control for the owner and dog."

"What if I miss a session?"

"If you need to miss one session, your instructor will schedule a 15 minute make-up class with you and your dog.  If you miss 2 or more classes, joining a new group class will be suggested to start over for the best training results."
